Let's Get Personal: Results
There are so many training philosophies and options for you out there, it can be hard to know and choose what may be best for you! This series, we are talking about why personal training may be the best choice for you and your goals!
With personal training, there are so many ways that it can be a benefit to you. One way is by helping you to achieve your goals faster or more completely.
In a group or with general fitness, your goals often take a back seat to the goals that are set for the overall group or class. However, with personal training, your goals should be at the forefront of any training session or activity that you do!
With this in mind, it is easy to see how your goals can be reached more quickly and more completely than if you were in a group.
I'll give you an example of something that happened to one of our own gym members! This member came to me and told me that she wanted to be stronger in one particular lift. She told me that she was tired of feeling weak in that area and wanted to be better.
She worked with her coach one on one for 3 weeks...after 3...THREE! personal training sessions, she improved her lift by 10 pounds! To contrast that, she had been working for multiple months, at least 3 days per week to improve her lift with the group training sessions. So...3 sessions versus multiple months to get what she really wanted!
It is a perfect example of why personal training can help you to get the results that you want more completely and faster than with any group training session that is available to you!
So, before you just sign up for the next group fitness fad, maybe consider your own goals and reach for those instead of what others have as a goal for you!
