Ready to Get Strong? Don't Stop

This week, we have been talking about how to start and be successful with a strength program.


Today we finish the series with a word of encouragement. Don't stop!


Don't. Stop.



Strength takes a LONG time to build! We are talking about changes that are microscopic in nature in the changes that are occurring in your body. This is why building strength is so slow, especially compared to some other changes that can occur!


It's ok! Keep going! Keep adhering to the principles that we have talked about this week! Keep overloading your muscles (safely!), keep changing up your routine (sets, reps, movements, etc.), but don't stop! You will have good days and you will have bad days, just keep showing up to put in more work!


When you achieve your goals, you will be so happy and proud!


The really great part about building good strength is that it tends to stick with you for a long time as well! While it is really hard to build strength, it takes a while to lose it too!


Keep all of this in mind on your frustrating days...when you just don't seem to be able to lift what you want...when you want...


Just.Don't.Stop.
